Hi, I’m Margee

Every animal deserves a life full of safety and love. Yet every day, countless animals in high-risk shelters face euthanasia because shelters are overwhelmed. Overcrowding, limited resources, and specialized medical needs that shelters cannot meet leave many at risk. These challenges are heartbreaking, but they also drive my mission: to give animals with the potential for a happy and healthy life the chance to be saved.

For the past 15 years, I’ve worked in tech, transforming “there just has to be a better way” ideas into powerful tools and platforms that solve real problems. I’ve led projects end-to-end, driving them from concept to launch while ensuring they achieve meaningful, measurable impact. Today, I get to bring those same skills to building Snout Scouts, a platform designed to give shelter animals at risk of euthanasia* the exposure and funding they need to be rescued before it’s too late.

Our platform connects animal networkers, rescues, and individuals ready to make a difference. Solving this enormous problem may seem impossible, but each small action moves the needle toward real change. Each share on social media, every dollar pledged to support an animal’s care, every small effort adds up—and together, these acts can mean the difference between life and death for an animal. For the animal saved, that impact is everything.

Every life saved is a reminder that consistent, compassionate action—no matter how small—truly makes a difference.

*We acknowledge that, in certain cases, euthanasia is the most humane option for animals suffering from incurable medical conditions or severe behavioral issues that significantly affect their quality of life. Our focus is on animals who have the potential for a happy and healthy life.
